Our focus is on the bottom line; achieving outstanding results for our partners and clients. However, we look just as hard at how those results are achieved. The company takes great pride in the reputation it has established, and is fully committed to taking the high road. For these reasons, we select partners and clients who share these values.

Square Deals With Full Disclosure: We believe in win-win deals, which are essential to establishing long-term business relationships. Manti's success results as much from the contributions from its partner companies as it does from Manti employees. Maintaining strong bonds with a core group of service companies, other E&P

companies, and financial partners is essential to our continued growth.

Technical Excellence: We take pride in the strength and diversity of our team. All graduated with honors from major engineering schools and achieved managerial positions within major integrated companies prior to joining Manti. Our technical expertise covers the spectrum at every step in the value-added chain, from prospect definition through the gas plant.

Safety: Our diverse and extensive industry experience has imbued in the Manti team a total commitment to achieving results safely. Manti's operating practices were adapted from those of industry leaders. These programs have been implemented with a balanced approach, which considers the risk and economic viability of each engineering practice or specification.

Environmental Sensitivity: We have demonstrated our ability to achieve outstanding technical results in some of the most ecologically challenging environments in the country (for example, Pita Island's gas wells and bird refuge pictured above). Holding this philosophy requires genuine concern for the environment and good planning to anticipate and mitigate potential adverse impacts.

In some cases it requires substantial changes in timing or higher cost approaches to accommodate"eco-biological issues." We also want the communities we work in to see Manti as a positive force. For this reason, the company supports and funds initiatives which improve the quality of life in the communities where we work and live.

Business/Finance Planning: While the bulk of Manti's organization is focused on recognizing and actualizing investment opportunities, the Business Planning Functions at Manti maintain controls to insure these investments are paced within a framework that takes a long-view of the market, our liquidity, and inventory of opportunities. Two people on point for handling all major business investment decisions are Lee Barberito, President and Gary Mize, Vice President.

Opportunity High Grading / Budgeting: Manti is fortunate in that the number of available acquisition, development, and exploration investment opportunities significantly exceeds its ability to fund. Manti's base strategy is to pursue acquisition of developed and undeveloped acreage as opportunities present themselves. Acquisitions then take priority over development and exploitation opportunities already in inventory. The balance of the budget is allocated to those opportunities which offer the best mix of benefits, including return on investment, adding proven reserves, or adding significant cash flow.

1 Year / 5 Year Planning Horizons: Each year, Manti goals are established at 1 and 5 year planning horizons. Financial, acquisition, development, and exploration targets are established which are consistent with updated market assessments, liquidity, and the company's inventory of opportunities. In addition, targets for field expenses, production targets, and downtime are also established and provided to operations. These projections are based in large part upon field level models which offer the ability to test sensitivities to prices, production, and investment profiles. Benchmarking Manti's performance to other publicly traded small cap independents is another important tool in checking performance and establishing targets.

Investment Post Mortems: Reviewing past investment decisions based upon booked costs and production trends aid in improving investment decisions, cost surveillance and job design. Follow-ups for workover, drilling, and acquisitions are conducted each quarter. Also, an Aries reserves database is maintained as part of the follow-up process to track progress in converting potential into proven reserves.

Audited Financials: Manti provides both audited annual or unaudited quarterly financial statements to financial or equity partners as appropriate.
