David Habachy, Reservoir Engineer
David graduated with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering (1998) and an M.B.A (2004) with Highest Honors from The University of Texas at Austin. David began his career as a reservoir/operations engineer at Vastar Resources, where he developed and exploited several fields in the Frio and Wilcox trends of South Texas and the prolific Hugoton field in the Mid-Continent. In September of 2000, David joined Netherland, Sewell & Associates as a reservoir-engineering consultant, where his responsibilities included field studies, reserve evaluations, international production sharing contract analysis, and acquisition evaluations of many prolific domestic and international basins. David joined Manti Resources as a reservoir engineer in May of 2004. He is currently responsible for A&D evaluations and reservoir/production management of several fields in the West Texas and Gulf Coast regions.
