Chris Douglas, Exploration Manager
Chris graduated from the University of New Orleans in 1977 with a Masters Degree in Earth Science. Chris's primary experience is in the South Texas Wilcox trend, although he has extensive experience in the Frio and Yegua trends as well. With over 20 years in exploration, Chris has generated in excess of 40 wildcat prospects resulting in the discovery of 10 fields with ultimate recoverable reserves totaling 467 Bcfe of which 350Bcfe have been produced. Since joining Manti in 1995, Chris has unraveled the complexities of the overthrusted Caballos Novaculite at Longfellow Ranch in Pecos County, Texas and worked on numerous South Texas properties which include Baffin Bay, Sarita East, and Kohler.
